More than two days after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a truck and car on a busy Melbourne freeway, the victim's identity remains unknown.

The man was struck by the vehicles on the inbound lanes of the Princes Freeway at Laverton, just before 5.30am on Monday.
The drivers of both vehicles stopped to assist, but the man died at the scene.
Images of the man have been publicly released in a bid to identify him.
He is believed to be aged in his late 50s or early 60s, Caucasian, 164cm tall and approximately 105kg.
He had grey hair that was long at the back, brown eyes and a moustache and wearing size 11 US black Nike shoes with white soles, blue jeans and a blue T-shirt.
