There are few words that can truly capture the atmosphere of a B&S Ball.
The bachelors and spinsters attending the popular Ariah Park event on Saturday, October 27 said it had to be experienced.
While tyres kicked up the dust, the ball goers from near and far were kicking up good times, with perfect spring weather heralding a bright and warm weekend.
Decked out utes, trucks and wagons lined the showground, with the sound of music, burnouts, laughter and shenanigans heard from across town.
Across the years, the Riverina’s own country-themed ball has been labelled one of the best, with blokes and babes from across the region and neighbouring states converging on the small town.
The event’s committee treasurer, Ebony Worland, this week said the ball had become a “right of passage”.
She said money raised from ticket sales would support the town’s charities and organisations.
