PLAYERS from Hay, Coleambally, Griffith, Narrandera and Leeton representing the Murrumbidgee District, came together for the last time.
Due to the decline in members the Murrumbidgee District has folded and the remaining keen players will now travel to join the Central Riverina District.
The Murrumbidgee District Women’s Bowling Association celebrated its 60th anniversary back in 2016.
The presentation day was a huge success and the winners were Betty Howard, Lauren Cox and Dian Collyer from Leeton Soldiers Club, with Maria Sosso, Clare Brown and Cathy Elliot from Griffith coming in as runners up.
The proceeds were donated to Paul Smith, representative for the Rescue Club.
A big thank you to all those involved over the years.
TWELVE players ventured out in the heat last Thursday to play three games of pairs.
The winners were Joan Lloyd and Jan Carroll, and Marie Odewahn won the lucky draw.
