Leeton Shire Council with support from the NSW government will be hosting two special grandparents and grand-friends storytime events to celebrate the contributions older people make to the younger people of the community.
Leeton library manager Terry O’Keefe said older people, both grandparents and grand-friends, played a critical contribution to the well-being of our younger community and that this event was a celebration of this relationship.
The events will follow the traditional storytime format of stories, songs, art and craft with some exciting additional activities including a photobooth, refreshments and games.
The events are free. No bookings are required just come along and join us.
All of the fun will be held at the Leeton shire library at 10.30am on Wednesday and Saturday 10th.
For information contact library staff on 6953 0945.
