B Taxi Ward pull up a short against the never-say-die Shelly Sheldrick, 31-12.
Game of the round has to go to Luke Melidonis and Tony Reneker, after 16 ends Melidonis had Reneker down 18-6 and looked like going on with the job but Tony shrugged off his jet lag and went on to win the game 31-25.
Phil Ryan and Damo Harris went through the forfeits.
