THE Leeton Junior Basketball boys competition continued on Tuesday night with some close matches.
In the years 7 to 8 Reds v Leeton Auto Gear it was the latter who came home with a 33 to 29 victory on the night. Jack Kidd scored 16 points.
Gold took on Lanhams Jewellers and the former were able to get the victory by five points. Chris Iannelli sunk nine of the 16 baskets. Celi's Buses and Think Water had an even tighter game, with Celi's Buses winning by two points. David White and Ethan DePaoli scored 16 points each.
In the years 5 to 6 boys, Nathan Wood Construction dominated to defeat Anytime Fitness 51-16. Seth Shirdon had a great game taking out eight of the 16 points. Player of the match went to Calan Nicholls who sunk 12 baskets.
The other two games had Tabain's Storage defeat Brads by 14 points, with Shannon Lehman taking out player of the match.
Leeton Home Improvements went down to Leeton Tyrepower 43-21. Tallis McMillan and Matthew Wallet both scored 14 points.
In the years 3 to 4 boys, Area Pre-Mix had win over Irrigation Specialists by 18 points. Salvtore Alampi scored 12 points and Jez Lashbrook eight.
Felix Joinery defeated Country First by two points, with Xavier Chilko sinking four baskets.
