The school held its inaugural grandparents and grandfriends day for all to enjoy, with guests travelling from far and wide to attend.
Community groups and family grandparents were invited to take part and not only enjoy a delicious morning tea and lunch cooked by the students, but they also participated in “ask gran, not Google”.
This is an inter-generational project where students were asked to write messages or questions to seniors in their life – from close grandparents and those miles away to neighbours or community members.
