The club will hold its annual hams carnival on Saturday at McCaughey Park, instead of the usual venue at Waring Park.
Yanco Lions Club’s Sue Ryan said all community members were invited to attend to try their luck at winning Christmas lunch.

“We made the decision based mostly on the newly-opened water pad at McCaughey Park, so it can be enjoyed by families while trying their luck on the spinning wheel,” she said.
“We really wish to utilise this wonderful resource that we had a part in being made possible.
“We would love to see as many families as possible out there using the splash pad (on the night).”
Joining in on the night will be the Yanco Public School P&C, who will host a $2 pop-op shop where fairy floss, drinks, snow cones and a doughnut wall will all be available.
“Working together with Yanco school is very meaningful to us, as we donate money to (them) each year from our ham raffle for the purchase of books to be presented to the kids at their end of year presentation,” Mrs Ryan said.
“We are very lucky to live in an extremely generous community that continues to support our charity work and efforts.”
The hams carnival will get underway at McCaughey Park from 6pm.
