The Leeton Amateur Swimming Club has received $4500 and te Leeton Junior Phantoms Rugby Union Football Club $1507 under the Local Sport Grants Program.
Member for Murray Austin Evans said the grants would be used to increase participation, upgrade facilities and equipment and help train coaches and volunteers.

“Sport is a vital part of the Murray community,” he said.
Meanwhile, as part of the government’s Country Arts Support Program (CASP), Leeton Shire Council will receive two grants of $3000 and $2600.
The CASP fund is a devolved grants program administered each year by Regional Arts NSW on behalf of Create NSW.
