This is what Kurrajong did in Leeton on December 3 to celebrate International Day of People with a Disability.
A free barbecue was held in Mountford Park for people with disabilities to get together and celebrate the goals they’ve reached this year.
“The day was most enjoyable,” said Kurrajong manager Deanne Bolesta.
“People chatted and relaxed and some even played a game of crochet or tennis.”
Kurrajong provides supports to many people in Leeton and surrounding communities and wanted to celebrate the day with families.

The organisation is also celebrating the recent move into new premises in Pine Avenue Leeton.
“The move has been well received by clients and families and everyone loves the new facilities,” Ms Bolesta said.
“We will be holding an official opening in January next year and are eager to show Leeton families our new premises.”
Anyone who is interested in contacting Kurrajong about accessing its services can call into the new centre or phone 1300 764 620.
