Their coaches for next year have all been locked in and pre-season training started about six weeks ago with around 35 players turning up each Wednesday.
Warren Weir is taking on first grade in 2019, with Shayne Roden, Kye Longford and Jade Butler at the helm for reserves.
Father and daughter duo Katie and Paul McGregor will lead the league tag side, while Franky Fiumara will take on the under 18s and Derek Lui the under 16s.
Weir was impressed with the commitment of his players this pre-season.
“We’ve been getting really good numbers at training every week, which is great,” he said.
“Everyone seems really committed to it.
“Our biggest signing so far has been Hayden Philip, who has come over from Temora.
“We’re talking to a couple of other players at the moment, but I won’t mention who until we hopefully get then signed and here in Leeton.”
Weir said looking ahead to the 2019 season, he hoped his side’s mixture of youth and experience would work in their favour.
This week there was no training leading into the Christmas and New Year break, but players will hit the training track once again from January 9.
Following that, senior players will attend a weekend training camp in Tumut.
“We’ll get everyone up there for a big weekend of training and just working together as a team,” Weir said.
“We’ll be concentrating on our structures and some of our plays.”
This is the first-time Weir has coached the Greens at a senior level and he was looking forward to the challenge.

“It was something that was always on my bucket list to do at the Greens, but the timing wasn’t right until now,” he said.
Greens president Bill Arnold said he was the right man for the job.
“It’s pleasing for us as a club that we’ve locked in all of our coaches for next year,” he said.
“We’re building up to what will hopefully be a very successful season for us as we approach our centenary year in 2020. We’re very happy with all of our coaches for next season.”
