Last week temperature records were flying left, right and centre in the MIA.
Yanco recorded its hottest January day on record and there appears to be no relief in sight.
Last week the mercury continually hovered at 45 degrees and over from Monday to Thursday, with Friday’s temperature also hot at 43.7.
It was only slightly cooler on Saturday at 36.8 and and 37 on Sunday.
Monday was expected to reach 40 degrees once again and it’s only going to be worse as the week goes on.

Residents are bracing for another onslaught of unrelenting scorching temperatures as Tuesday is expected to reach 41 degrees, 42 on Wednesday, 44 on Thursday and an absolute stinking hot day of 47 on Friday.
Australia Day will also be almost unbearable weather-wise with 44 degrees the expected maximum before dropping nine degrees to 35 on Sunday.
Residents have been urged to take precautions when out in the heat.
