Intensive consultation workshops will be happening on February 21 at the theatre.
Two sessions have so far been planned and will be capped at 50 people at each one.
However, if the interest is there, a further workshop will be added.
Residents can now register to take part by completing an online form at home or heading to council’s offices where an iPad and staff can assist.
Council’s manager of communications and marketing Brent Lawrence said there had already been strong interest, with 40 people already putting their hand up.
“That’s across the two sessions, we’re hoping to get a good cross-section of people at each one,” he said.
“The first one will be held from 2pm to 4pm and the second from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, with a possibility of adding a third after that if we need to.
“This is a chance for those people with any questions or concerns about the refurbishment to come forward and express those.
“We want people to be part of the process because nothing is yet to be set in stone with these concept plans.”
Some of the most contentious issues surrounding the theatre’s redevelopment is the reduction in seating and the addition of a coffee shop.
However, those involved with the design work believe both issues can be worked through and residents should be aware the coffee shop would only go out to tender for a local operator to take it on.

Council is also calling for two further community representatives to join the Roxy Redevelopment Committee, which was formally endorsed last week.
The committee will be accountable to council and will also be responsible for ongoing community engagement.
It has been setup to provide a range of strategic, technical and compliance advice and to help formulate options for the future governance of the theatre.
