The shed was located at AgnVET in Brady Way and was being used by CopRice to store the stock feed.
Leeton Fire and Rescue were called to the fire on January 28 and were concerned chemicals that were at another nearby business could go up if the fire wasn’t contained quickly.
Making matters worse was the shed was completely involved with thick smoke making it difficult to locate the actual source of the fire to put it out.
The crews were eventually able to use machinery to move the feed and douse it to extinguish the fire.

The day before, Leeton Fire and Rescue attended a head-on crash on Brobenah Road where a man in one vehicle was briefly trapped and a woman in a separate vehicle suffered a broken wrist.
Crews were also called to a grass fire near an empty house on Saturday that was quickly put out.
