The NSW government’s Active Kids rebate program continues to offer parents a $100 voucher to be used with a local sporting club to help cover things such as registration costs when signing their children up.
Leeton shire has many codes that accept the vouchers including:
- Leeton Netball Association
- Leeton-Whitton Football and Netball Club – Junior Crows football and netball
- Leeton United Football Club
- Leeton Junior Rugby League
- Leeton Junior Phantoms
Other organisations may also accept the vouchers, with parents encouraged to phone the respective club to see if it is accepted there.

The state government has recently been spruiking the success of the program, saying the Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers have been downloaded one million times since going live more than a year ago.
"The new school year has started and these vouchers will help parents plan for their children's activities and factor the cost of those activities into the household budget," Member for Murray Austin Evans said.
"We know the cost of sporting and creative hobbies can often create added stress for parents, which is why we introduced these cost-saving vouchers.
“I want families to have just a little less financial stress this new school year and we all want our kids to take part in activities that interest them - so I encourage you to take advantage of these vouchers.”
Parents should also inquire with places such as dance schools to see whether the creative or active vouchers are accepted.
