Drink drivers felt the full force of the law over the weekend as Leeton police patrolled the highways for Operation Drink Drive One.

There were more highway patrol cars on the roads and more officers on the beat throughout the Murrumbidgee Police District area from Friday to Sunday.
Over the 72 hour period Murrumbidgee police took 3277 random breath tests and issued 113 infringement notices for various offences such as speeding and lack of seatbelts.
Officers also arrested several drink drivers as well as drivers with fake, disqualified, or expired licences.
It started at 7.35pm on Friday when a 28-year-old man was caught driving on Wilga Street with a mid-range blood alcohol reading of 0.080.
He was charged and will face Leeton Local Court on April 16.
Shortly afterwards at 10.20pm on Friday a man was found driving on Wamoon Avenue with a low range blood alcohol level of 0.057.
He was charged and will appear before Leeton Local Court at a later date.
That night at 12.15am on Saturday a 38-year-old man was caught driving with a mid-range blood alcohol content of 0.097.
He was charged and is due to face Leeton Local Court.
At 10.05pm on Saturday a 44-year-old man was caught driving on Celtis Place with a mid-range blood alcohol content.
He was charged and will face Leeton Local Court on April 16.
