Robert Quodling, Angela Uren and Jason Richardson has leading the charge by petitioning and speaking with members of parliament about what they say is crisis when it comes to the lack of doctors currently servicing the shire.
Not only that, they are worried about the on-call doctor system at the Leeton District Hospital, which continues to be short-staffed.
The group has placed petitions in doctor's surgeries throughout town, as well as some businesses and supermarkets.
However, at one of those surgeries, not one signature had been registered when Mr Quodling last checked.

"It is concerning … I think in this day and age people don't really put pen to paper," he said.
"They are happy to sit behind a phone, but the thing is we need support. We need to show as a community that this isn't good enough."
Mr Quodling will be writing to the federal Minister for Health Greg Hunt, as well as Minister for Regional Services Bridget McKenzie in the hopes they will travel to Leeton for a public meeting.
The group is still in contact with Member for Farrer Sussan Ley to organise such a gathering and are hopeful of pinning down a date soon.
The trio have also met with mayor Paul Maytom, Member for Farrer Austin Evans and Shooters, Fishers and Farmers candidate Helen Dalton.
Now, they have again called on the community to make their voice heard on the issue by writing to members of parliament, signing the petition when they see it and attending the public meeting once a date is set.
