The top two finishers at the recent event held at the Leeton golf course are now preparing to head to Canberra next week to try their luck at progressing further.
They will be accompanied by Leeton golf professional Jason Mimmo.
"I think we had 90 or so players on the day, with about 26 teams of four," Mimmo said.
"We always do get a fair few starters every year, but I think we had a few more this year, which was good."

The competition is held each year and was previously known as the Holden Scramble.
It is open only to competition golfers and not those who play on a social basis.
Mimmo was hopeful the two teams would fare well at the next level of play.
"It should be good … I think they will definitely put in a good effort," he said.
It's a busy time for the golf club, with the Leeton Pro-Am to be held in three weeks.
