Camp life for young students
YEAR 7 students and teachers embarked on an exciting adventure on Wednesday travelling to Laurel Hill, near Tumbarumba, for a two-night camp.
The camp provides the opportunity to get to know each other a little more and to work as a team.
Thanks to Mr McKenzie, year 7 adviser, for his hard work in organising the excursion.
New handbook almost ready
STUDENTS will shortly receive a student handbook outlining our updated wellbeing and discipline policy to align with our PBL values and management processes.
The updated handbook will be revised with students upon completion.
Reviewing mobile phone use
THE school is currently reviewing our mobile phone policy after recent research reviews on the use of mobile phones and their impacts on the school environment have been released through the NSW Department of Education.
This research also highlights the different responses schools adopt in managing the use of mobile phones and other portable devices.
At the forefront of our revision is the maintenance of a respectful and responsible school environment.
The updated policy will be shared with our school community for feedback.
Put on best smiles
School photos will be taken on March 21. Please ensure full summer school uniform is worn for our photo day. Order/payment envelopes will be sent home as soon as they arrive at school.
