About 10.40pm on March 1 a 32-year-old man was leaving a licensed premises in the town with some friends and was walking across Main Avenue.
As they were crossing the road, another group of people started yelling out to them.
A verbal argument ensued and the 32-year-old victim became involved in a scuffle with the other party.
Police were notified, but no charges are expected to be laid after what they said was just a "push and shove".
Farm hit by thieves
A property on River Road near Yanco was hit by thieves during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police believe the theft at the farm took place between 6am and 6.25am.
The thieves gained access to a shed where they stole saws, drills, a chainsaw and an empty gun safe.
