After winning the toss and electing to bat the Stags were able to make a solid start with Andrew Kouzan and Brian Rotherham.

The pair were able to put on 36 with Kouzan doing the bulk of the run scoring before Rotherham (6) was dismissed by Adrian Axtill.

Kouzan continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over when he way joined by Tye Studholme and got their side to 50 before Studholme (5) was the next to fall when he was caught by Daniel Barton off the bowling of Peter Handsaker (1/12).

The trouble for the Stags was finding a batsman who was able to break into double figures. While Kouzan worked hard at one end, it was tough going at the other end, and Bryce Collins (1/9) struck with the score on 71 to remove Mandaglio (7).

Kouzan (58) was able to reach his fifty before he was the second to fall to the bowling of Axtill (2/19) when he was caught by Collins.

Thomas Camm (7*) and Glenn Hillam (5) scored late runs to see the Yanco side reach 5/106 after their 35 overs.

L&D was able to make a solid start in their reply to the Stags total with Peter Lashbrook and Handsaker putting on 27 runs before Studholme (1/27) took the wicket of Lashbrook (8).

Axtill joined Handsaker out in the middle, and the pairing was able to put their side in the box seat with a 41-run partnership to get their side to 68 before Axtill was knocked over by Abid Hussain.

Handsaker (41) followed closely behind when he was knocked over by Max Yelland (2/6) who followed it up with the wicket of Collins (2) while Rohan Lacey (1/10) took the wicket of Kai Schmetzer (2) while Hillam (1/5) chipped in with the wicket of Harrison Steele (0) to give the Stags a chance.

It was too little too late however for the Stags as Matt Robertson (21*) and Caleb Watson (1*) were able to guide the Ferrets to a four-wicket win.

The Ferrets will now take on Narrandera in the B grade decider while the Stags will be left to think of what could have been after being bundled out in straight sets.
