The Stags resumed day two with all their wickets at their disposal as they look to chase down the remaining 72 runs they require to pick up first innings points.
Jason Burke resumed on 31 while Kyle Pete had scored nine with the score on 0/40 after 13 overs and it would be a while before the Ferrets would see the back of the opening pairing.
The pair were able to get their side to 105 before Bryce Rogers was able to make the breakthrough when he found a way past Pete's (28) defences.
Burke and Josh Lanham were able to guide their side to the first innings points before Burke (88) fell 12 runs short of his maiden A grade hundred after just over two hours at the crease when he became the second victim to fall to the bowling of Rogers.
Jordan Camm joined Lanham at the crease and the pairing used the time in the middle to gain form as they pushed their side past the 200-mark with a 62-run stand before Camm (32) fell to the bowling of Rogers (3/46) while Lanham (47) was caught behind by Richard Smith off the bowling of Maclean Crompton.
Jock Yelland (0) followed closely behind when he was caught by Smith off the bowling of Mat Axtill (1/50) while Dan Hillam (4) was dismissed by Crompton (2/32) to see the Stags lose 4/14 but were already sitting on a massive total of 6/220.
Angus Boulton (19*) and Mark Doyle (8*) kept the runs coming for their side as they put on 21 runs in two overs to see the Stags finish their innings on 6/241 after 45 overs which saw them finish with a run rate of 5.35 runs per over.
While the Stags took home the first innings points, the result had no bearing on the finishing position of either side with the Yanco side having wrapped up the minor premiership two weeks ago while L&D were out of the battle for finals positions.
Yanco has advanced straight into the grand final thanks to finishing first and will now await the winner of the game between Narrandera and Leeton Soldiers Club Colts who meet in the semi-final.
