LOOKING through the new Leeton Food Guide will easily have one's stomach rumbling.
The guide was launched by the Leeton Business Chamber recently in front of a large crowd of business owners and residents.
Covering every option of dining available in the shire - cafes, restaurants, takeaways and more - the guide was made possible thanks to the chamber, as well as sponsorship from Leeton Shire Council.
It contains not only details on each business, but also contact information and opening times.
Mayor Paul Maytom officially launched the guide and said it provided an easy option for residents to use, as well as visitors.
"The publication has something for everybody with the great diversity the Leeton dining scene offers and I’m sure it will be an extremely valuable resource for locals, visiting friends and relatives coming to town, as well as business travellers who are always eager to know what is open in our shire and when," he said.
"Projects like these always need a person driving them behind the scenes and I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere thanks to Leeton Business Chamber president Wayne Bond for taking the lead on ensuring this publication became a reality.
"A big thank you as well to Vanessa Pages for the tremendous work that she has also put in to ensuring all the necessary information was collected from each eatery.
"Be sure to share the guide with your family, both here locally and from afar, to ensure we as Leeton shire residents continue to support our local eateries who endeavour to provide a great service and experience for all."
The guide will be distributed extensively around Leeton, including as an insert in The Irrigator on March 22.
Additional copies can be obtained from the Leeton Visitor Information Centre.
