Former AFL player Jason Akermanis will be heading to Leeton to compete and will provide good competition in the amateur section.
It's not his first time coming to Leeton, having played a one-off game for the Leeton-Whitton Crows in 2012.
The Leeton Pro-Am will be held on March 23 and 24 and there are also some big names from the golfing world taking part, with many coming straight from the New Zealand PGA Championship, which finished recently.
Leeton golf professional Jason Mimmo said there were strong fields across both the divisions.
"We're expecting about 70 pros, which is the most we've had for a long time," he said.
"There should also be about 130 in the amateur division.
"I actually bumped in Jason Akermanis in Albury, that's where he lives now, and hit him up about coming to the Pro-Am.
"He's a pretty handy golfer, so he's come to come down."

The amateur division is also offering a cash prize of $500 this year.
Akermanis will also speak at a sportsmen's event.
Several former winners of the professional division are expected to return to Leeton for the event.
The Leeton course remains in decent condition even though there has been very little rain recently.
"We've been pumping as much water into it as we can," Mimmo said.
"It should be another good competition for everyone."
Spectators are welcome throughout the two days.
