A STRIKE team from the MIA has spent the last week helping out in the Victorian fire zones.
The state was recently affected by several bushfires, with several men and women from the Rural Fire Service's many MIA brigades heading down to lend a hand, including from Leeton shire.
After long hours, the team returned home late last week.
It isn't a rare occurrence for the RFS MIA zone to send its staff and volunteers to fire zones throughout the country to help with fires when they occur or afterwards to help in the clean up.
The RFS is always looking for more volunteers.
