The college took on Yanco Agricultural High School on Wednesday evening in the opening round of the shield, with YAHS looking to replicate their form from last season and go back-to-back.

In the end, St Francis College ran away easy victors, 54-0.
In the boys rugby league, the contest was a tighter affair.
With plenty of bragging rights on the line and competitiveness on show, both sides played with vigor and passion.
However, St Francis College got back to their winning ways as seen in the past shields and came away with a 22-10 victory.
The next match will be on March 27 at No. 1 Oval when Leeton High School face off with Yanco Agricultural High School.
