Jason Nardi, Matt Arnold, Jason Mimmo, Tyler Boller and Chris Doolin won the regional final of the Volkswagen Scramble in Canberra recently, blitzing the field in the process.
The foursome - minus Mimmo - were the winners at the Leeton scramble, which meant they then progressed on to the regional final.
At this event, they are able to have a professional play with them, which is where Mimmo came in.
He said the team were proud of their efforts and were already keen for the national event, which will be held over four days towards the end of May.
"It was a very good win for the boys on the day," Mimmo said.
"These events are really competitive both because of the teams, but because of the course too.

"You have to be on top of your game the whole way through.
"You can't make any mistakes and I don't think we made a single mistake that day."
The Leeton side beat out 28 other teams from across the wider area to progress through.
The Volkswagen Scramble is a pro amateur club team's event, which is managed by the PGA of Australia.
Since the event commenced in 1992, the Volkswagen Scramble has become Australia's largest and most successful pro-amateur team's event.
With over 1,000,000 players participating in over 10,000 events, the Volkswagen Scramble has cemented its position in the history books.
The championship event, which the Leeton team will compete in, will be held at the Twin Waters Golf Club in Queensland.
Mimmo said the side would continue as normal in the lead up to the event.
"I don't think we will do too much different to what we usually do in terms of training or anything like that," Mimmo said.
"We don't want to put any extra pressure on ourselves, so I think the plan will be to just keep playing in the Saturday comps and that sort of thing."
