Leeton Shire Council and Cycling Australia will this week be holding special cycling workshops for children aged from five to 14.
Council road safety and traffic officer Stephanie Puntoriero said riding a bike was a skill all children should learn.
"There are more families than ever using the cycle track and training facility for fun and fitness," she said.
"This school holiday event is planned to encourage even more residents to take advantage of these wonderful assets within our community."
