The weekly session was highlighted by Leeton author Kira Brettschneider reading one of her books to the large crowd of young children.
However, it was also the last session being co-ordinator by the long-time staff member Leonie Murphy, who is officially retiring at the end of today.
The young group were treated to several stories being read and told by Mrs Murphy, as well as enjoying all of the usual songs, laughter and craft activities.
Ms Brettschneider has written several children's books, including Betty Saves the Mob and Mary from the Dairy.
The books are available to borrow at the library and each has its own unique story and lesson to learn.
