LEETON police have directly asked for the community's help in solving a serious crime.
The incident dates back to March 3 around 1.15pm when a blue hatchback, possibly fixed with green p-plates, was seen driving in a dangerous manner on Palm Avenue opposite Woolworths.
It is believed the vehicle then entered the supermarket carpark where it continued driving erratically and performed a number of burnouts.
Later that day about 4pm the driver of the vehicle in question is alleged to have struck a man in what is believed to be a domestic violence incident on the Back Whitton Road.
Police are calling for witnesses to the incident in the carpark to come forward and provide them with any information they may remember from that time on March 3.
Any information about the person driving the vehicle, a description of the car or other details will be used by police to piece together what happened.
Contact the Leeton station on 6953 1399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if you can help.
