Leeton Metaland store will be closing its doors as its parent company aims to consolidate its operations, merging the Leeton and Wagga branches. The Leeton office currently employs five people.

JARRAH UPGRADE BEGINS
Construction has begun on the Jarrah Mall upgrade with everything going to plan, according to Leeton shire parks and recreational manager, Niall Blair. The final result will include a new surface, raised garden beds, trees and shade structures.
BANDIT HITS BANKSIA
Staff of the Banksia Avenue store were left in a state of shock after it was held up by a robber on Friday afternoon. He made away with a sum of money.
WHAT A GREENWASH
The Leeton Greens have delivered a 90-6 shellacking of 2003 minor premiers and grand finalists West Wyalong in the opening round of the 2004 Group 20 season. Already depleted, the Mallee Men cause wasn't helped by representative duties.
