Five of Leeton's young brigade are unavailable, leaving coach Warren Weir with several selection decisions to make.

While the club has plenty of depth, five outs is a big number.

However, in positive news for the senior side, they are expected to welcome back Taina Heke and Dan Hyde into the team.

"It will be Taina's first game for the season and we will probably have Dan Hyde too," Weir said.

"We'll rush those guys back in to fill the gaps.

"Both of those players have plenty of experience."

Weir said the team would likely not be finalised until Saturday morning.

The Greens are looking to rebound against Yenda after suffering their first loss of the season against Black and Whites almost a fortnight ago.

Yenda on the other hand will be searching for their first victory of the season.

It's been a tough start to the year for the Blueheelers, who were first grade runners-up in 2018.

"They do seem to be struggling a bit at the moment," Weir said.

"I heard they lost their two pivots in the first round with season-ending injuries, so that's obviously a big blow for them.

"This game is one where we need to bounce back and get the points in the bank."

The Greens have set themselves the goal of winning three of their first games of the season.

With two already under their belt, they will be hoping to achieve that goal come Sunday afternoon.

Following the loss to the Black and Whites the side sat down and reviewed footage from the match.

"We had a look at what went wrong," he said.

"It wasn't a great deal of things. It was mainly our execution which really hurt us.

"We had a couple of fellas in different positions and they didn't really play to their role.

"They played good, but just not to their role or job was for that match."

The side put in solid sessions at training before the Easter break and it has been the same this week. "We did have a couple of days off with the break, but the boys are back into it now," he said.

Leeton are sitting third on the Group 20 first grade ladder, behind the Waratah Tigers in first position and West Wyalong in second.

Following this weekend's encounter with the Blueheelers, they will take on West Wyalong when the return back to No. 1 Oval for the first time since round one.

"Hopefully this weekend we can get the points and then look ahead to West Wyalong," Weir said.
