It was no different in 2019, with the Yanco Community Hall full of residents wishing to pay their respects to the fallen on Thursday afternoon.
Older residents, younger and everyone in between made sure they were in attendance to remember those who had given so much during the Great Wars and the conflicts since.

Held each year by the Yanco All-Servicemen's Club, a wreath laying ceremony was part of the commemorations, as well as reading of the names of each of the town's fallen. School children also participated as the Last Post was sounded and a minute silence observed.
The Yanco service has continued to grow in numbers in recent years, meaning it will be a tradition that continues in the years to come. The community then gathered for lunch and a game of Two-Up to mark the day.
