A vague description of the thief has been given to police after the shotgun was taken from a Merungle HIll Road property sometime between 4am and 6am on Sunday.
The owner was only able to tell officer the offender was possibly of slim build and may have been wearing a hoodie.

Investigations are continuing, with police reminding registered firearm owners to ensure they have them locked and stored in accordance with the required legislation.
Huge amount of diesel stolen
Thieves have also made away with a whopping 2100 litres of diesel from a Fivebough Road farm.
Taken from an overhead diesel tanker, the thieves broke into the property sometime between April 27 and April 28.
