ROUND five of the autumn squash competition had some long and entertaining matches. Monday and Fred Hammer took on and defeated Matt Piper in three games. Dylan Meekin worked hard for his win over Daniel Shelton, Dylan taking the match 15-11,15-10,11-15,15-10. Will Gray-Mills made it a clean sweep for the Tigers, defeating Alax Pattern-Taylor in three. Charmaine Lee won against Natalie Fiumara in three, James Kelly and Lizette Taylor had a good match, James winning. Callum Ryan defeated Anthony Iannelli in a hard four-game match giving the overall win to Crows. In the late matches Charmaine Lee won against Trinity Pattern-Taylor 3-1. Trish Fletcher got her side back into contention by defeating Naomi Rawle 3-1 and Garry Walker used his squash nous to defeat Gary Thompson 3-1 giving the result to Eagles.

Tuesday and Trev Whitby defeated Maanu Alexander 3-0. Ryan Mahalm had to work hard to defeat Jackson Goman 15-13,15-14,14-15,11-15,15-10. Christian Nielsen defeated Simone Bruno 3-0 giving a clean sweep and win to Crusaders. Domenic Fiumara and Kylie Gray had a long match, Dom winning 8-15,15-13,15-13,8-15,17-15. Callum Ryan played Anthony Iannelli for the second time this week, Callum just getting home, 15-10,12-15,15-13,12-15,15-10. Col Thompson won against his son Blayne 3-1, the win going to Highlanders. The late games were all long games, Tayah Preston defeated Ondria Miller 7-15,15-12,15-7,11-15,15-12. The match of the week was between Declan Ryan and Will Rawle, Declan winning. In the battle of the brothers Jacob Harrison won against Macauley Harrison, giving Waratahs bragging rights.
Thursday night Bryan Shepley kicked things off with a win over Emily Lyons 3-0. Gary Thompson defeated Hayden Brewer 3-0. Nicholas Croucamp got the Knights the win, beating Brodie Lashbrook. Brianna Gray-Mills defeated Leah Smith 3-0. Dawid Croucamp won against Carol Davidson 3-1 and in a very energetic match Dion DeMamiel got the win against Jackson Goman 13-15.17-15.9-15.17-15.15-11 giving the Raiders the win. Late matches started off with Alayna Croucamp defeating Lizette Taylor 3-1. Erin Draper won against Ian Draper and Brian O'Leary won against David Cross 3-0.
