Leeton-Whitton traveled to Mangoplah Sportsground to take on MCUE in what was always going to be a hard contest given the Goannas are sitting at the top of the A grade ladder.
The Crows have been working on converting their chances and controlling the ball, which they were able to do for some of the match.
However, the experienced Goannas proved too much for the Crows, with the final score 70-38.
Co-coach Beck McCallum said the side was competitive for the first half.
"The girls were extremely competitive for the first two quarters and we really pushed them up to that point," she said.
"They were an extremely tall side and our girls adjusted pretty well.
"Taya Crockford and Ainslee McGrath worked consistently in defence, while Abbey Thomas and Grace Korovata combined well in our shooting end.
"Our youthful mid court consisting of Carley Graham, Mikayla Jones and Teagan McKellar also worked really hard."

The Crows will now lap up a much-needed week away from the court to regroup and refocus thanks to the representative bye.
However, the hard work won't be stopping with training to still go ahead as the team sets goals of improving and getting more wins on the board as the season starts to progress.
"We will continue to work on combinations as we have not had a full side yet while still incorporating some ball work and fitness," McCallum said.
In good news for the club, three teams did pick up victories on Saturday, including A reserve, which was their first win of the season.
"A reserve had a good win with the girls putting in a tireless effort," McCallum said.
"Again our young girls stepped up with Chloe Matthews proving too strong in the shooting circle, combined with some great ball movement from Maddy Kennedy and Taylah Block."
C grade and the under 17s got the day off to a good start winning their matches.
