Leeton are coming off a bye last weekend, while the Waratahs have maintained their position at the top of the Group 20 ladder despite being defeated by West Wyalong on Sunday.

With the top four teams all sitting on 10 points apiece, the Greens are fifth with eight points.

This weekend's game is a crucial one and Arnold believes while the hard work will need to be done on the field, the mental attitude will also need to be on point.

"Footy is just as much a mental game as anything else," he said.

"I know 'Weiry' (coach Warren Weir) will be drilling that into the boys on Friday night and before the game.

"It's a big one for us."

With the competition as close as it is, every victory is a vital one, with the Greens set to tackle two more top five teams in the coming weeks in Darlington Point-Coleambally and Yanco-Wamoon.

While a team is yet to be finalised for Saturday's encounter at Exies Oval, Arnold expects it to be a similar side to the one who defeated West Wyalong almost a fortnight ago.

"We had a good training run on Wednesday night ... I don't think there are any injury concerns to worry about at this stage," he said.

"We just know Waratahs are going to be very hard over there. Hopefully we can do what we do and get the win."
