Riverina League downed ACT's open representative team 69-61 in an entertaining encounter in Canberra.
It was a turning of the tables after Canberra got the better of Riverina in Wagga a couple of years ago.
Riverina League representative coach Jess Allen was incredibly proud of her squad.
"I'm so proud of the girls," Allen said,.
"It was a good test for the younger girls to come out and play against the Canberra team and to win like that is really exciting.
"We lost by about 10 goals against them last time so it was a big improvement."
Griffith's Jess Conlan played in the centre and was named best on court for Riverina.
Meantime, Hume League scored a thrilling 40-39 win over Farrer League at Osborne on Saturday.
Hume's Ebony Williams and Farrer's Sarah O'Leary were named best on court for their respective teams.
