The team was down several players, but they still took a commanding lead early in the game which they maintained right up until the end-whistle blew.
United coach Frank Alampi said the team had put on a performance they could be proud of.
Alampi gave a special shout out to striker Andrew Laff, whose unrelenting pressure on the front lines had kept Camden on the back foot the entire game.
"They couldn't touch him," Alampi said.
"His movement was electric."
Laff's quick footwork earned himself a hat trick and cemented his team's lead heading into the second half of the match.
Alampi also gave props to Adam Raso, who has been continuing his strong streak of plays well into the 2019 season.
It's still early in the season, but so far it has started off on the right foot with a solid 3-0 victory over St Mary's on May 5 and now their most recent 7-1 win over Camden.
They'll be hoping to carry this momentum with them as they head into round 4.
They've secured themselves a spot heading into the next round, but at the time of writing the details of the upcoming match on June 2 are still being hammered out.
In the meantime Alampi said he and the boys will be heading back to the field to train and steel themselves for a tough season ahead.
"We'll continue to do what we've been doing," Alampi said.
"We'll keep knocking the ball and keep the training the boys hard."
Sunday's competition saw plenty of action, with Panorama FC suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of Srathfield in a game that went 7-0.
Things were much more touch and go when Blacktown Workers FC butted heads with Lilli Pilli, but by the time the end whistle blew Blacktown had managed to edge out a narrow victory of 3-2.
Lithgow Workmens also had a tight contest against Quakers Hill Tigers, but when the dust settled it was Lithgow Workmens who emerged triumphant 2-1.
