You can expect to see little red shields popping up all over the place this weekend as Leeton's Salvation Army pulls out all the stops for this year's Red Shield Appeal.
It's their major fundraising event of the year, and they'll be going into overdrive to raise money to help locals in their hour of need.
They'll be setting up static stalls all over Leeton and Narrandera, and they'll also be catering at the Leeton Riggz skateboarding cup on Saturday.
It's a major undertaking for such a small team, but Leeton Salvation Army major Wendy-Sue Swann said she's confident her dedicated team of volunteers can take on the challenge.
"We try to give back as much as we can and our volunteers try really hard to do that and serve the community the best they can," major Swann said.
