Ms Lymer has been working behind the scenes for many of Leeton's wine shows and other events designed to show off what the region's winemakers have to offer.
She runs Emerge Creative Agency, which works with groups like the Riverina Winemakers' Association to promote wineries such as Toorak and LillyPilly Estate to the rest of the world.
"We're making some really interesting wines and I don't think people are aware of it," Ms Lymer said.
"I want to re-position people's perceptions around the Riverina."
Ms Lymer is optimistic about the future of Riverina's wineries, which is developing a growing fanbase in overseas markets.
China, in particular, is starting to sit up and take notice of Riverina's red wines which are growing in popularity in the eastern markets.
The growing demand shows no sign of slowing down, and Ms Lymer predicts the trend will continue.
