But despite being so new to the profession she's been blitzing all of her targets, thanks to the guidance of veteran nurse Patty Hopkins.
"I'm very lucky to have Patty," Ms Pasquetti said.
"She's been amazing and very, very helpful."
With their powers combined there are very few obstacles they can't overcome if they put their mind to it.
Ms Pasquetti has already done her Assistant in Nursing with TAFE, and this time she'll be getting some more hands-on experience with Leeton District Hospital.
Ms Pasquetti says she's thoroughly enjoyed her experience at the hospital so far and is aspiring to become a nurse either in the cosmetic or maternity wards.
It's a tough career path she's chosen, but she won't have to go it alone; Mrs Hopkins has been helping her along both as a friend and as a mentor.
Mrs Hopkins has a girth of experience to draw upon: she cut her teeth at the Prince Henry Hospital in Sydney, the Long Bay jail hospital, at an Italian ward in Griffith, and in Leeton District Hospital.
During that time she's picked up a great deal of skills and experience, all while hanging onto the passion and dedication she's had since she was a young upcoming nursing student.
She's got decades of experience under her belt, and finally she has a protege to share it with.
"Now I've got this little one under my wing," Mrs Hopkins said.
