Twenty-two players enjoyed a game of social bowls. Joan Arnold had the best play of the day, by taking the Jack she changed the score from 5 down to 4 up. Judy Heness and Wilma Alexander were the drawn winners and Joan Bourke won the lucky door. A training run will be held before play on Thursday, starting at 10am.
LSC: The final of the Drawn Fours was played in ideal weather conditions. Marie Stiller's team got away to a very handy lead but with steady play, Betty Howard's team clawed their way back with just two shots separating the teams and two ends remaining. Coila Murray, Jean Plant, Barbara Gullotta and Marie Stiller knuckled down winning the last two ends thus taking out the match. Leaving Colleen Harrison, Val Bloem, Laurel Cox and Betty Howard the runners-up.
Daily competition winners were Marie Stiller's team with the runner-up prize going to Shirley Middleton and Margaret McKenzie. Tomorrow will see the commencement of the drawn Triples with the team of Jan Munro, Barbara Gullotta and Betty Howard taking on Colleen Harrison, Val Bloem and Laurel Cox.
Lee Noble's Team has a bye. Trial ends commence at 9.40am. Social bowls will commence at 10am.
