The Leeton Greens have made a strong start to the second half of the season with a 46-20 over the Sharks out at Lake Cargelligo on Sunday afternoon.
Elwyn Ravu got the Greens off to a strong start with a try in the fifth minute before Kelevi Ralulu extended the visitors lead 11 minutes later.
Alan Dutchie Thomas Ahyuk was able to get the TLU side on the board with a try in the 27th minute before a strong end to the first half saw the Greens leading 22-4 at the break after tries to Hayden Philp and Teague Studholme.
Studholme didn't waste time scoring his second of the game as he crossed just four minutes after the halftime break to see the lead creep out to 24 points before Lakes hit back with two tries including on to Tyrone Johnson.
Leeton was able to put the game to bed with Rhys Wilesmith getting over the line before a quick-fire double to Harrison Rudd over the space of three minutes saw the Greens leading by 30 points with 13 minutes remaining.
TLU was able to get a late consolation as Zachary Mcintyre got across in the 73rd minute to see Leeton take the two points with a 46-20 victory.
Leeton returns home next week to take on Hay while TLU hit the road to take on Waratahs.
