The school offers a broad curriculum to meet the needs of all our students to prepare them for a productive and successful future and take great pride in delivering excellent academic, sporting, cultural and vocational experiences and opportunities.
It continues to focus on improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for students and collaboratively developing knowledge and skills as practitioners to drive continuous improvement.
Leeton High School understands that student well-being has an undeniable impact on learning, endeavouring to support students to connect, succeed and thrive in every environment.
Leeton High School values the collaborative partnerships it maintain with the community, being a proud member of the Leeton Community of Public Schools.
In 2019, it became a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school, which provides a structured approach to supporting positive behaviours based on a common set of values to frame behaviour expectations.
The values statement - Respectful, responsible learners - was chosen by students, parents, carers and community members to shape the best learning and well-being environment possible. The school addresses these values through explicit expectations displayed around the school, evidence based PBL lessons and the constant and consistent acknowledgement of positive behaviours.
Leeton High offers an array of extraordinary extra-curricular opportunities delivered by a dedicated and diverse staff.
It is widely recognised as a creative and performing arts centre of excellence and continues to lift the bar at every turn in this domain. An extensive careers program also draws much acclaim culminating in the annual Careers Expo, which sees over 1500 hundreds students from across the Riverina and 80 exhibitors from all over NSW and Victoria attending.
