Held recently at the Leeton Soldiers Club, the ball is one of the first real opportunities for the young ladies and their partners to shrug off their usual school uniforms and casual wear for a more formal look.
This year 16 young ladies and their partners made their debut into society in front of their family and friends in what is a long-running tradition in Leeton.
Complete with an official party and choreographed dance moves, the event was a night to remember for the group who dazzled in their white gowns and dapper suits.
Co-organiser of the event Polly Greatz said the transformation of the young men and women each year was something that never got old.
"You see them in their casual gear or school uniforms when they come to practices and then for this one night they are all dressed up and every year they all just look so beautiful," she said.
"It's amazing to see.
"This year we had such a wonderful group taking part.
"We say that every year, but it's good to see these young people being part of the night and the lead up in such a respectful way."
With sixteen debutantes and their partners participating in the ball, this allowed for a good crowd to turn out in support of the group, meaning once the official parts were done with, it was time to celebrate and have a good time with loved ones.
A debutante ball to some may seem like an antiquated idea, but while the traditions remain, the committee believes it is a night for the young men and women to enjoy themselves and celebrate all they have achieved so far in their lives.

Mrs Greatz said the tradition of the ball was alive and well in Leeton and she can see it continuing for many more years to come.
"We have our ball, there's the Scottish ball and then the Rotary ball which combines the two," she said.
"A lot of other towns don't have any deb balls anymore, so as long as the young people are interested, it will keep happening in Leeton.
"I think they see it as an important milestone in their lives.
"The feedback we receive is that it's one of the best balls, the band even said that to us this year."
The organising committee has thanked all of those who again helped pull the night together.
