Leeton delivered a 40-12 victory to their fans at No. 1 Oval on Sunday afternoon, with coach Warren Weir impressed with the whole-team performance.
The young Greens side showed determination as they ran away with the win, with Hay saving some face late in the match to score a last-minute try.
Weir said the scoreline still didn't exactly reflect that match on the day.
"As we've done in the last couple of weeks we started off really well and were able to build from there," he said.
"Hay were still tough ... they have pushed several teams in the last few weeks, but we were able to get on top.

"They (Hay) were just a bit patchy)."
It was a young Greens side that took to the field on Sunday, with Weir estimating the oldest player on the field to be 24 years-old.
The scoring was shared around among those young players, with Ty Fletcher, Harrison Rudd and Kelevi Ralulu all picking up two tries each. Kirtis Fisher and Jordan Demarzo picked up one apiece.
Weir said it was tough to pick out the better players on Sunday.
"I sat in the sheds after the game and found it pretty hard to write down our top three," he said.
"I thought our number six in Kirtis Fisher and seven in Harry Rudd were very good. Kelevi in the centre was great and out front rowers were also very good."
Brandon Catlin also made his first grade debut for the Greens on the day.
It was a good day out for the Greens on Sunday, with reserve grade picking up a 36-16 win and league tag delivering a huge 52-10 victory over their old nemesis.
The sides will now turn their attention to this weekend's game, which will be against the sixth-placed Black and Whites at No. 1 Oval.
The Panthers have the wood over the first grade side this season after they defeated a depleted Greens outfit 29-10 in round three.
