DESPITE being second last on the Southern Inland Rugby Union first grade table, Leeton coach Seru Rogo remains positive his side will make this year's finals series.

There is only four points separating Leeton with fourth-placed Griffith Blacks, meaning they are still a chance to leap frog teams in between them and the top half of the table.
However, that is going to require them winning the majority of their matches from here on in, starting with a victory over the Albury Steamers on Saturday.
The Phantoms will make the trek to Albury's home turf and Rogo believe he has the men to get the points.
Rogo was away for last weekend's clash with the Blacks, which resulted in a narrow defeat for the Phantoms.
"From all reports we did play quite well last weekend and we were missing several of our regular first graders," he said.

"This weekend we should have more of those players back.
"I think the boys just need to go in positive and know they can win."
The Phantoms have been trying to work on solidifying their combinations, but it's been a case of solving one issue and having another pop up in its place.
"We've been working on on fixing areas with our combinations that needed more attention," Rogo said.
"We've just been having a few times where we do that and then something else comes up, but that's just football.
"Hopefully we can start to bring it all together from now on."
The Phantoms had a solid hit out at training on Tuesday night and Rogo said they would be using Thursday's session to brush up on a few areas in preparation for the Steamers.
He said despite Leeton's current position on the ladder, he was confident they would still be making an appearance in the finals.
"I have full trust in this side," Rogo said. "I've been trying to tell them every week to believe in themselves and that they are good players.
"It's just putting all of that into practice."
