Captain-coach Monique Higgins said the side was looking strong heading into the clash.
"We have had a couple pull out at the last minute," she said.
"I think there is a pretty good mix of youth and experience within the squad. It is a good chance for the young ones who are new to the game to show off their skills."
Higgins said it was an honour to be able to coach the Group 20 side into a representative game.
"It is great to get the opportunity," she said.
"It did come as a bit of a surprise. I only started coaching the Yanco girls this season."
The side has a Leeton Shire flavour to it with 13 of the squad coming from Yanco-Wamoon and Leeton with the others.
As coach of the Hawks side, Higgins was pleased to see some of her girls get recognition.
"They have really put in the effort so far this year," she said.
"It is great to see them get the opportunity to represent the group."
Taking on Group Nine, Higgins is expecting to see a fast flowing game but feels her side is well equipped.
"We have a couple of girls who posses some speed, and that will make a difference," she said.
"We are pretty well covered in quite a number of areas with this side.
"We just have to stick to our game plan and not worry too much about what we will be coming up against."
The game will be played at Laurie Daley Oval at 1.25pm before the first grade game between Junee and Southcity.
From there a Riverina team will be selected for the league tag country championships.
