The 2019 Junior State Titles will be held in Sydney this weekend and the Leeton Netball Association will have its under 14s, under 13s and under 12s all competing.
The 14s have played five regional carnivals in the lead up to the event and were the champions at both Cowra and Parkes and runners-up at Young.
This team was moved up to division in 2019 and have gained experience and shown improvement across the whole court.
In 2019 the team consists of: Abby Horton, Adelaide Meline, Shikeea Brown, Brooke Schmetzer, Molly Gilmour, Madeline Irvin, Eva Catanzariti, Annabelle Cross, Indiannah Johnson.
The under 13s have participated in six regional carnivals during the representative season in the lead up to Sydney, facing some tough competition.
The girls have been doing extra training, with a fitness session at the gym once a week, as well as their regular training.
Most of the girls also play in local competitions, which provides additional training.
There is plenty of versatility among the girls, which has allowed for many different combinations in the circle and mid-court.
The girls are looking forward to representing their town and having fun.
